I'm not 100% sure you can do this swap without the complete wiring harness?? [anybody out there know for sure??] and here's why, I'm sure you could wire up the tach to work, but I think the main harness plug, that snaps into the back of the gauge cluster itself is differant, and there is a seperate wiring harness for the amp/volt gauge. I'll let you know in acouple weeks for sure, as I'm parting out a 78 T-bird with the gauge package and I can compare the the big wire plug ins. If worse comes to worse, I could sell you the t-birds wiring harness [tach is broken/not working in my cluster] I had planed on selling the cluster and wiring harness together, but with the tach broken, only value is in the harness. I'll let you know, E.J.
