460 swap is easy, but you'll have to find a donor car with everything you need, other wise, it'll get way to exspensive to buy things part by part. Here's a list of cars to look for to do the swap: 1972-73 429 Torino, Montego, Ranchero. 1974-76 460 Cougar, Montego, Torino, Ranchero. There were no 460's put in any mid size car from 77-79, but all of the above with swap right in. As far as a 351W in a Pinto, that's alittle bit of over kill. There are swap kit to put a 302 in, and that's really all you need. Do a internet search for pinto sites, they all talk about a V8 swap. E.J.
