Yep, the wires come out the door post between the door hinges, about in the middle and then go straight across into the door. Both holes are pretty big, not just a small hole the size of the wires. Then there is a big rubber boot that plugs into each hole and the wires run thru it. Last pair I had, I sold on ebay for $25. E.J.
