well twelve months ago i would have said the same thing about john denvers car no one recalled him having a cougar but now the car i have has been athenticated by johns brother ,family and freinds along with a stack of paperwork that has been found on my cars history i am willing to give anyone a chance.
but as you said and many other people have also said why did clint eastwood purchase such a base model and the condition is noticibly very poor.
in some ways i possibly looked this silly when i first seeked information on john denvers 1978 mercury cougar xr7.
