Hi everyone I'm currently thinking of purchasing a 1979 Mercury XR7 Cougar. The car currently has a Ford 390 bored out to a 417 stroker with a shift kitted C6 automatic tranny & a ford 9" with a solid spool & 3.73's. My real question about the Cougar is what is the difference between a regular Cougar and an XR7 Cougar. Are there diff's with the body style or interior styling?? I don't know much about these cars but this one looks comfy & VVVVERRRY FAST. Any info about the car would be really helpful. Thanks
