ZK, if the car needs that much work, it would be easier to save your money and buy a nice riginal rust free Cougar that needs very little or nothing, then keep your car as a parts car. It will be a lot cheapper in the long run..... beleive me, I've been there done that. I have two nice Cougars for sale for $5,900 or best offer each, and even these nice originals, I have over $7,000 into each of them, and I didn't have to replace rusted sheet metal. But, if you are determind to restore your's and if you are looking at buying large sheet metal parts, you better find them close to home, the shipping on large parts is EXSPENSIVE. Just something to think about, E.J.
