I know it's a while since you asked the original question:
As others say, an excellent track for cycling and in my experience a very good estate:
They provide a car park for walkers and a bothy.
I met the stalker last year and he offered to take me and my bike in, but I politely refused. A great man to talk to.
The estate only do private (not leased) stalking, so access may be easier to obtain.
