As far as I know the Meagaidh hut, originally built I think by the Glasgow JMCS in the later 60s or early 70s, simply fell apart (a) for want of maintenance and (b) due to the timber being re-cycled for winter bivvy fires, rather than actually being removed. The last time I was there, which admittedly was a while back, there were still bits of standing wall among the monster boulders. But I'd be intrigued to hear if anyone knows otherwise.
