Posted by kevin Howett Can the person responsible come forward and explain the reasons for de-bolting what has become a popular low/middle grade sport venue? Perhaps they could also return the hangers to Scott Muir who placed them and paid for them personaly? I would like to open the debate on this subject and hear what climbers thoughts are regarding the crag and what has happened. I will be writing a pitch-in article for this purpose and would like to include the de-bolters point of view, so please contact me on kev@mountaineering-scotland.org.uk. Many thanks

There is a posting on scottishclimbs with a runour that the bolts at Lower Lednock Crag have been removed. This has been confirmed today: the bolts have been removed and the stud holes filled in so now impossible to simply replace the hangers.
