I am planning a trip with two friends to the island fo Rum in late June and was wandering if anyone here could advise me about access issues. Several websites I have browsed mention contacting the local warden to gain permission to use the bothy at Dibidil; one climber I met on Ben Lui last week said that parties of 4 or over only were allowed; some websites do not mention access issues at all. Any clarification here at all would be useful! We are planning to spend 4 days on the island and hopefully pitch up in the Cuillins away from the bothy or the main tracks.
