I am searching for the Davis Family of Shelby Co., KY James Davis b. 1760 d. 1829 married Frances Stewart - Their son William Davis was an Elder in the Baptist Church. He began preaching at about 13 at Buck Creek Baptist and have been affiliated with the Traveling Church. William moved to Missouri later in life. James also had 2 sons that were involved with the church. Gad Davis and Ephraim Davis (Ephraim also moved to MO). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
