Lisa, Hello, I just saw your posting of the Freeman/Fleetwood surnames. I am related to these familes through Lorne Fleetwood Cannon (Tabor)from Crittenden, Ky. She was my gr-gr-gr grandmother. Her parents were Perryman Cannon (Pendleton, S.C.) and Mary Freeman (Bertie Co.,N.C.b.Dec.2, 1794). Mary Freeman's parents were Aaron Freeman and Judith Fleetwood (both born in Bertie Co., N.C.), my 5th gr-grandparents. Lorne Fleetwood Cannon married Joel Marion Tabor Jan. 27, 1848 in Caldwell Co., Ky. I have a copy of their marriage record. I would love to hear from you!
