Hi,
I'm a 5th generation descendent of William T. Durham (1809), on all census records shows he is born in Kentucky. He is known to have lived in Rockcastle and Madison Counties, Kentucky. And a male Willliam T. Durham (1809) Descendent resulted in the Randy J. YDNA group at the hyperlink below. http://www.familytreedna.com/public/durham/default.aspx?section=results
Some of William T. Durham's descendents lived in Parksville and I believe Perryville. Could we be linked to your line? Might Benjamin be a brother to William T. Durham (1809) or a cousin? Per Ethel Durham Wemmer's memoirs, she states that parents of William T. Durham (1809) were John Durham of Virginia and possibly something like a unknown Female Roberts. There are a lot of twins in the Durham lines.
I have ancestry.com if you would like permission to access. It's a one-time visit offered by ancestry.com if you're not a subscriber. Thank for any consideration.
Sincerely,
Marlys Brewer
