John Wesley Foote married Mary Smith. John was from Ireland and was kidnapped to serve the British during the Revolutionary War. John switched sides and stayed and fought for the U.S. He married Mary Smith, probably in Virginia or North Carolina. This is around 1785 or so. Can find nothing on Mary Smith.
