Well it sounds like the President wants both Gates and the Sgt to come to the White House for a beer. The President said the Sgt is a good man and may have mis-spoke, though the President refuses to apologize for his quick comment about an incident he did not he have a fraction of the truth. I hope others in our department can learn from this incident. We have too many people who love to make comments about someone or an incident without learning the truth before they run their mouths. Most of the time these comments are kept internally, but they have a similar impact on those involved as this one did. Just not to the same level.
I still think the President is an "IDIOT" and does not desire to run this country.
