WHOH NOW! very good ideas and all but let's not forget end of z and then gt itself. Vegeta is torn between the two. He desires to be stronger but mostly to protect his family and the earth. He almost dies against super 17 and calls the earth his home. so I think he's changed..he also tries to help goku out even though he knew he'd die. Twice actually once agianst kid buu and the second time against the shenrons...but then bulma stops him to tell him her plan about the brute ray. Vegeta is like.."who cared if I die" and bulma sais "your son and daughter do". do he stops. He does think more about his family later on.
