Oh right, I forgot about that. Well if the reason isn't physical then it must be mental. Now I know a lot of people think Goku is an idiot, but he's a lot smarter then people give him credit for. (After all, he grew up in a forest and never got to go to school, so give him a break!) For example he knows how important it is to keep your emotions under control in a fight. Goku's usually a pretty easy-going guy, but when there's trouble he seems to go through a kind of tranformation. He becomes serious and calculating. Vegeta loses his temper way too easily. Remember when he was challenging the androids to a fight? 17 said something about saiyans being too sure of themselves and Vegeta completely flew off the handle! He was already losing it and the fight hadn't even started! You can't fight at your best when you're all riled up like that. That's mostly the reason Vegeta lost. 18 was playing around with him, getting him fraustrated, getting him to use up his energy quickly. You only have to look at their faces during the fight to see Vegeta's getting more and more angry while 18's staying cool.
If Vegeta could only learn to control his emotions and not let his opponents anger him so easily, he'd be twice as good a fighter as he is now.
