Posted by Shannon Fontenot on 8/16/2001, 2:59 pm I recieved your e-mail, and I think what you have done is great. It is so neat to read about what John meant to so many people from all over. You know it still is so hard to believe he is gone. This past Friday night August 10th we had 50 yellow balloons and 50 white balloons, and we played a song by Vince Gill "Go rest high on the mountain" and we released the balloons in the air, it was so neat how the wind shifted and all the balloons went in a line headed over Keith Rd. where is construction yard and race car shop was. He truly was a good hearted man, and we will miss him alot.
