Linda, we all know how you feel. It was when I began to realize how many friends and fans John had across the nation that I decided to start a web site for all to contribute and share. The photos and words are from everyone. As I understand it, it was actually pretty instantaneous. He had just won the B feature at Eldora, and hit the wall in the A, did a slow roll back into on coming traffic, as we have seen so many, many times at Eldora, and was struck by several other cars. I don't think that he really felt anything after that, so we can all be thankful to know that he did not suffer. His smile, laughter and voice will continue to live within us all.
