Today I was surfing the web and came across this tribute to John. I decided to put this in.
At Houston Raceway Park this year they were running a new 360 class they are trying to build and I was there. We went out for the main and I finished 10th, but not John. I thought I was doing pretty well but John passed me so many times I lost count. After the race he was parked next to my brother and I and I told John I was running as fast as I could and I tried to slow him down as often as I could (I didn't really) but John broke out in that laugh of his and reached out for the trailer to hang on he was laughing so hard. That is one of the things I will miss most about John.
