I worked for him in the 80's, and watch him race at H&B speedway many time's. His pit team at that time was Randy Bunra, Richard Bufford,the Haley brothers, and many others. They worked hard and played hard, but one thing for sure the always had fun, win or lose. I'm sure if you lined up all of John's friends and co-workers hand to hand they would reach across the land, form east to west. I will be returning to Beaumont on the 4th of September, 01 for 14 days. MY CONDOLENCES TO FAMILY AND FIRENDS.
