Posted by Chris Clark on 8/10/2001, 7:42 pm I just wanted to say thanks for creating this site. John was a part of my life since I was just a kid. He was very close to my parents and I grew up climbing in and out of his race cars from way back. I can remember when he brought them to the race track in the back of a dump truck!! haha The loss of John has very deeply touched my family and I. I have lost my hero, and the world of racing has lost a great man. I personally think John should be inducted into the Spint Car Hall of Fame, not so much for what he won, but for being one hell of a advicate for the sport and the greatest guy I have ever met.
