Your right it's hard to believe it's been that long. I thought of it, when I realized the HBO was this weekend. Seems like something tragic happens around the big race events.
There is a Hot Stock car that runs at 281 Speedway that makes me thank of John everytime it's there. The reason being it's painted the same color of red, and is white number 8, and there is nothing else on the car except a few stickers. I told my wife and parents that I thank of Bankston every time I see that car. It's a good running car to, but does not have that slinging it in, like John did. :o)
