It is so good to see new posts of folks still missing John.
My apologies for this website. I haven't a clue as to how to do a web site. Someday I hope to learn and revise this so it can be a real tribute to John (& to Ronald - or a separate one for Ronald). When John died a young friend offered to put this site together for me, but he has since graduated from high school and gone on with his life. I thank him so much for starting this and I cannot blame him for getting on with his life. But I would still like to apologize for the state this website has become.
This past year - on the anniversary of John's death I waited to see if anyone commented. No one did. Stormi & I talked (emailed) about him but I thought I'd see if anyone responded. Also no one on his birthday - April 15th - but then that is income tax day.
Again - it is great to see others who still think of John and miss him. I know of even more people. I just wish I could get him into the Sprint Car Hall of Fame - but they seem to think that wins are more important than what a person did for the sport. I've asked and altho' they love John also, they said they need a record of his racing career and I don't have that. If there is anyone who could help with that I would still love to try to get him inducted into the Sprint Car Hall of Fame. I think he belongs here.
Thanks for continuing to love and remember John. I personally don't see how anyone could ever forget him.
Carol
