Hi y'all,
Will you be going to the Bankston/Laney Memorial ASCS race this Friday night at Speedway 90 in Beaumont? I am coming down for the race, and I hope I get to see you there. I'm trying to put a poster together for the event, and make little handouts to give to people with the web site address on them. I hope to be somewhere near the front gate (I've never been to this track before, so I can't say where I'll be). I might be close to the ASCS souvenir trailer... that way we can keep an eye on each others "wares". I'll be wearing a John Bankston t-shirt, but I imagine about everyone will be in either a Bankston or a Laney t-shirt. I'm about 5'8" tall, overweight, medium to short curly brown hair (it depends on how humid it is), wear glasses, and I'm close to John's age.
I really hope I get a chance to meet all of the caring folks who have contributed photos and stories to make John's web site the success that it is.
