The world assembly, a selection of governing bodies all together in one place to discuss matters of world importance. Today the in house arguing could be heard from the streets as a major debate regarding world pollution and how best to tackle the situation was igniting old feuds amongst some of the less know countries, one strong voice inside the council chamber however took the form of a king, known throughout the world as Aquaman a member of the Justice League and rightful ere to Atlantis.
“I say it is simple, stop polluting the seas and oceans and cut down green house emissions”
“And what about production, we relay on ours as an economic source for capital trade”
“Become more self reliant and stop depending on the strength of your neighbours”
“Easy for you to say, safe underwater”
“Meaning?”
Arthurs voice is one of arrogance and authority, the tiny diplomat from Asia soon silences his words as a cold blank stare from the under water king does not go unnoticed.
“My lord, perhaps a more gentle approach would be more beneficial”
“Ha you sound like Superman”
Arthur turns, noticing the sign of affection as the under water beauty gently wraps her loving arms around one of his.
“Remove your hands, you are no longer my wife”
“And you are no longer my king, you said, you may be seen by the humans as ruling king, but your where banished and I as queen still command the seas. Learn your place Arthur or lose your standing with these humans you like to argue with so much”.
With that she turns on her feet, walking quickly towards the nearest exit door.

I sit perched on a rooftop; I have waited and calculated my act of revenge ever since I saw the news that Aquaman would be in attendance. I will never forget or forgive the way in which he and the league took down the Injustice league, robbing me of any chance at a life where I have no need to rely on breaking the law in order to survive.
But now my plan was all to do with luck, knowing full well I cant take on the King of the ocean directly, my plan is to take down his wife and as I see her thin frame exit the large building, a sick twisted knot in my stomach disappears, replaced instead with one of unquenchable glee.
I leap from the rooftop, using my power of formation and manipulation of cold and ice to create a platform of ice to glide down to my attacker. I land just in front of my intended Victim.
“So this is the Queen of Atlantis” I look into her eyes, she’s the queen ok. Not a hint of fear stares back at me. But I can work on that.
“I rule at the side of my king yes and just who you might you be?”
“I am the woman that is going to bring your kingdom to its knees, starting with the death of its queen”
The air turns to frost and ice as my power surges outwards, ripples of cold likes waves of frost wrap around me. Small droplets of ice form on my fingernails, like sharp daggers they grow until I release my power, sending several pin like icicles towards the heart of my victim.
To my surprise she does not scream, nor does she fall at my first attack, instead she flips to one side, her speed and grace forces my frozen darts to miss their mark completely. What happens next sends a shiver of shock through my already cold body. I watch as the woman of Atlantis waves her arms, forcing my daggers to melt and drop out of the air, now floating as if brought to life the water turns into a ball and comes flying towards me. Moving so fast and with fluid like action I’m knocked square of my feet, hitting the pavement hard as the waters splashes into my gut.
“You will find that the Queen of Atlantis is not shy of combat, nor will she fall at yours or any other persons hands”
“The fight is just getting started and I can assure you queen, and by the time I am through with you. You will beg for me to make it quick”.
