INTRODUCTION/NOTE(OOC): This is after the storyline that is currently taking place in my Role plays. Ben Grimm has already turned into The Thing.

It was the most gut-wrenching moment of Ben Grimm's life. To have his fiance Linda call him a monster and run away screaming, made him very distraught and ill-tempered. He kept playing the scene in his head and after each time he would be filled more with rage. He stood, head down, in the middle of a New York street outside of Linda and his apartment.

Thing: Linda!!! NO!!! *gasp* Ugh! She's right. I am a monster! I'm just a Thing.

After the exposure to radiation during the cosmic storm, Ben's skin turned into a strong, rock-like texture.

Ben was getting furious, past the limits of his control. He began to run. Searching for the rest of the crew that was affected on that fateful day. He was blaming Reed in his head, for him turning into a "monster". All he was focusing on was hate and anger, two things that did not mix well with Ben. With each step that he took, he either destroyed the road or a car. He didn't care. He was in a blind, relentless rage, and he liked it. Pain was what he felt and it was pain that he wanted others to feel.

Two blocks later, the tireless Thing was just passing a small park with some baseball diamonds and bleachers. He then noticed Johnny Storms, one of the other crew members, he was with two women.

"How come he gets to still have women?" he thought to himself. "Why can't I have Linda!"

Johnny notice Ben and began to make is way to him.

Johnny: Hey Ben, or should I call you Rocky? (Johnny laughs) Get it?

Thing: Don't start with me Matchhead. I'm in no mood for you. I just lost the women I love, and you seem to still keep your women.

Johnny: What can I say? I'm hot (Johnny laughs again) Chicks dig it.

Thing: Looks like I'm gonna hafta knock some sense into that small brain o' yours. (He swings and hits Johnny, sending him into a nearby car.) It's clobberin' time Match-stick

Johnny quickly recovers from being smashed in the car. "Flame on!" He ignites himself on fire and charges Thing. Johnny then strikes Thing right in the abdomin, but Ben doesn't move.

Thing: That all ya got Johnny?

Johnny: NO! (very cocky) I'm just getting warmed up.
