Things had not been going so well since returning from deep space. While Supreme understood why Vixen wants to have a sit-down with him, he doesn't really have the time for formalities, not when he needs to talk to Maxine. And now, on top of all the other questions Ethan had, here was yet another, why did Vixen stir his mind so? He knew that they had not met before, but her form, grace, build, even the tone in her voice struck a chord that resonated deeply within Ethan's faltering memory. Unfortunately for Ethan, he would have no time to ask her any questions when fists and tempers began to flare. And fortunately, possibly for both sides, Supreme chose to escape rather than stay and fight.

Seizing the opportunity, Supreme leaps once more skyward and starts to soar off away from further confusion. Supreme doesn't get far before he is greeted by the hulking, hovering bulk of a S.H.I.E.L.D. Hellicarrier. Issued forth from various ports on the colossal aircraft, are several single manned hovercraft devises that form a semi-circle in front of Supreme, in an effort to cut off his escape route. Then a booming voice comes over an unseen loud speaker.

"Stand down, meta-human!" The amplified voice seems to echo back from miles away in the open sky above New York.

More out of curiosity than any sense of threat, Supreme does pause in mid-air before the foreign looking craft and it's hovering troop of men. "What is this?" Supreme asks out of genuine curiosity.

One of the hovering men answers back, assuming the role of squad leader. "We are S.H.I.E.L.D., and as of now you are under our custody, big man."

Coming up from the streets below, to meet Supreme and the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, Vixen had caught what the man had just told Supreme.

"Hold it right there." Vixen shouts across to the agent, with a note of indignation in her voice. "You can't just seize someone you think will become dangerous." Unknown to Supreme, or any of the other airbourne, Vixen then sent a mental message to the Manhunter, and was hoping for some assistance if needed.

"Well, Vixen, you had you're chance to bring him in, your way. Since you failed, we'll have to bring the target in, our way." The agent that had assumed leadership of the squadron announced, raising his sophisticated looking piece of weaponry for dramatic effect.

"She's got a point you know," Supreme butted in. "If you just ran around, arresting people because they look suspicious, half this planet would be behind bars." He stated, pseudo-philosophically.

In actuality, Ethan had heard the distant approach of two or more people. Out of curiosity Ethan decided to try and delay until these others had arrived, by deadlocking in conversation.
