Back tracking your way across the universe gives you a lot of time to think, a lot of time to reminisce about any number of things. With a memory spanning sixty plus years, Ethan has lots on his mind out here in the vast openness of an ever expanding outer space. A lot of the memories come to him as clear as day, some seem fuzzy and distant, but some seem to hang on the verge of being erased from his mind altogether.
For these 'blind spots' in his memory, Ethan decided that he would need to find someone he could talk to that knew his history. He had no idea as to whom he could turn to, so most of Ethan's trek back to Earth was spent brainstorming.
When the familiar varicolored sphere came into view, Ethan forced a slight smile as he remembered how he'd came to space in the first place. The lousy feelings that had swarmed him when he'd awaken in the streets of St. Louis. The ridiculousness of being 'cooped up' in a hospital... The hospital, that's it! The image of Maxine Winslow as she first stepped through his hospital room door had given him the answer to the question of who he needed seek out about his past.

-10 minutes later, New York-
Free falling fast toward the concrete ground below, his mind was filled with the intense pain from the mental assault. Supreme opens his eyes wide with rage. His anger rises and then, before he realizes what he's doing, Supreme's pupils emit bright red beams of energy.
On the receiving end of the attack, Vixen has but a second to react, and does so with the slightest thought. Humming Bird, the Ruby Throat species to be exact, is among the smallest of birds, and much like the fly, they perceive time at an incredibly slowed pace, in affect granting them their own sort of super speed. This allows Vixen to easily dodge an attack that comes fast as lightning.
Supreme had recovered from the mental attack enough to continue on the offensive, but was halted mid-flight by Vixen's deft maneuvering. Somehow, she reminded him of someone... Someone he'd known... Someone he was close to, but strangely couldn't place... The odd feeling of recognition all but paralyzed him, leaving him open for...
