“In recent generations the species has proved to have an impact on the stars far beyond anything recorded in our collective archives. Their feats have become stuff of legend, made up of equal parts glory and tragedy.”
“Unfortunately not all entities share our philosophy to observe only do not interfere. There are Gods who like to play with the inhabitants of Earth from many pantheons. Some are not even of this universe let alone galaxy; but now is not the time to focus on those.”
“One of these Gods is known to you as Khonshu but he has held many other names Chonsu, Khensu, Khons or Chons. Khonshu has existed since before the age of men. He is a lunar deity that has taken many forms across the cosmos. His name reflects the fact that the moons travels across the night skies, one of its many meanings is The Wanderer but he has also held the titles Embracer, Pathfinder, and Defender, as he was thought to watch over night travelers. As the God of light in the night, Khonshu was invoked to protect against wild animals, increase male virility, and to aid with healing. It was said that when Khonsu caused the crescent moon to shine, women conceived, cattle became fertile, and all nostrils and every throat was filled with fresh air.”

He slayed them and extracted their innards for the uses of he congregation of kings."

“But life and history are compromised of an unending series of happenings and choices. Most are meaningless, occasionally though, one occurs of sufficient moment to change destiny.”
“For this story to be told it has to begin with the happenings of sometime ago and then Marc Spector’s story can be told; a story of what he could have been…a hero or madman.”
“A story that tells what if Marc Spector gave in to the dark temptations of Khonshu.”
