-One week later-
Oliver Queen stood next to a large oak tree on a hill overlooking Arkham Asylum. He had been there every day as they went through the ruins, trying to find out what happened. After the first two days, the search for survivors was called off but he had not given up hope. “You should really get something to eat,” Tim said as he walked up next to him.
“I won’t leave her, kid. Not again,” Ollie promised. Tim had taken what happened really hard, but was trying to be strong. He was down there the first two days along with Ollie, digging through the rubble, searching for any hope, but none came.
“I understand, but we’ve been through this. There is no way anyone could have survived that,” Tim said sadly. He watched as Ollie jerked his head to the side as if he was listening to something. “Ollie? Did you hear something?”
He turned back to Tim with a fresh tear in his eye and a small smile on his face. “Nah, kid. Come on, I’ll buy you lunch,” he promised.
Although shocked at this sudden turn around, Tim smiled back and walked down with him away from Arkham Asylum. “I really miss them,” he admitted.
“So do I kid, so do I.”
