TIME: MORNING
PLACE: CHESTER COBBLEPOT'S (aka the Penguin) YACT-THE TUXEDO
A pair of aliens have invaded Gotham City. One is from earth, although his powers are not earthly. He resides in the most remote region of Africa, his city and people hidden from the view of homosapiens. His crimes against humanity are numerous. He is Grodd, public enemy number one in Gorilla City and Wakanda.
The other alien is an extraterrestrial. Hailing from the planet Venus, the creature crashed on Earth and has invaded many a mind. He is the puppeteer of a group of super-nasties who have come to Gotham and claim it as their own.
The Tuxedo rocks with every step that Grodd takes. He paces in self-discovery over the answer the Joker gave to Shadow Thief. He stops and looks at the card on the table. His massive hand comes up to his chin as he pauses to think it over.
'This is it? This is all he said and gave you?', Grodd turns to ask but seemingly nobody is there.
Then Grodd's shadow moves on its own and comes face to face with Grodd.
'Yes. He said to give this to your benefactor, that is my answer.', with that he stuffed the card in the empty blackness of my body. That guy is creepy and unnerving.'
Well then we pay him another visit.', Grodd nods to Shadow Thief.
Not to question you but the guy is incarcerated and he is allowed to play with lighters and stuff. I don't feel exactly safe in there with him. He was not intimidated by me at all.
All the more reason why I need him here with us. He is our wildcard.
'Gentlemen...' a raspy voice says as its feet waddle down the step and into the galley of the yact.
'Our new home awaits as well as the materials, wak wak, for the vibranium.'
The alien worm sits upon the shoulder of the Penguin.
Any word from Clayface or Stegron?
Grodd shakes his head no...
The worm sighs and pauses his thought.
