“Kara get in here, we have a situation”
“What is it Michael?”
“A faint transmission picked up on the JLA satellite, some creature just showed up on the moon. From what I can make out it’s already killed one person and is well on its way to making short work of another”
“I’m on it”
“Wait a minute, take back up”
“Everyone’s already out taking care of Icicle and the Wizard”
“Ok but be careful, save survivors and get out of there”
“Done”
In a blur of red and white, the young and vibrant krptonian from another earth, streaks across the dark night sky. In seconds she has reached high orbit, another few minutes and she begins to approach the moon, more specifically the site of Michael’s transmission.
“Anything?” the small voice of Mr Terrific talks into her ear.
“Nothing so far, switching to x-ray vision, wait a second, I see something moving down there”
Floating like an angel the powerhouse gently allows herself to drift closer to the moons surface. Once there she gently walks towards the small construct in front of her, the small symbol on the side tells her their NASA research, the large tear in the panelling gives her a different story.
Numerous possibilities begin circling through her head; perhaps this is an army cover up. Some genetic research carried out by NASA and the pentagon, creating a creature that has decided to turn against its masters.
Suddenly she hears a scream for help, its faint but she manages to detect it, following the faint whisper comes a tremendous roar. The small structure vibrates with resonance, as suddenly a green crystallised hand rips through the side of the building.
Kara moves swiftly, a blur to the human eye. She grabs hold of the monsters crystal like hand and pulls. Her strength unrelenting she forcefully drags the creatures entire body through the side of the metal panelling. Quickly revealing a creature no bigger than a human.
The creature’s strength takes the Kryptonian by surprise, quickly using the super heroines own grip to smash her into the ground. Before Kara can move the creature smashes a foot hard on top of Kara’s face. The moons surface cracks from the strength, as Kara’s face is pounded deeper and deeper in to the ground with every attack.
Suddenly it is the creature’s turn to scream, as two crimson beams of heat lance into the creature’s outer shell like skin.
“Get off me”

“Power Girl appears to be on the offensive, But Sam is already showing signs of adaptation, her strength has increased over eighty percent in the last ten minutes, the green crystal substance has become thicker and covering more of her body”
“Like armour”
“Exactly, but theirs something else”
“What?” Amanda Waller is not a person who normally likes suprises, still as she hovers closer to the view screen watching her latest creation fight toe to toe with one of the best. She can be forgiven for relishing this moment.
“Its her overall genetics”
“Spell it out for me Dr”
“The longer she’s been in contact with Power Girl, well it’s as if she is absorbing her DNA sequencing”
“You mean to tell me my soldier is now a Krptonian?”
“No its not that at all, she’s becoming something else”
“Perfect”

The Moon:

They stand facing each other, hand in hand, both trying to gain the upper strength advantage. Yet Kara soon begins to suspect that something isn’t quite right.
“Your getting stronger” She barely has time to ask the question as suddenly she feels pain, her hand cracks with the sound of thunder, she screams to the heavens, her final thoughts turning to Michael, maybe she should have waited for back up.
