"Huh?" Sue responds surprised but cannot react upon it as Crystal's fist, momentarily changing large and green, cracks across her jaw, knocking the Invisible Woman out. Crystal looks back at Songbird, still finishing up. She kneels beside Sue, pretending to assist her unconcious freind.
"What happened?" Songbird soars back to find Crystal kneeling beside Sue, "Is she going to be okay?"
"No," Crystal says, looking at Songbird, "And niether are you?"
"What?" Songbird quirks a brow as Crystal's expression of concern transforms into a malicious grin. Crystal blasts Songbird with a burst of fire, "Ughhh!!" Songbird crashes back into the wall.
"I don't know who you are," Crystal approaches, her face shifting back and forth from Inhuman to Skrull continuously, "Or why you felt the need to get involved, but I assure you, human, the mistake will be your last."
"You're one of them," Songbird remarks before screaming, the construct is easily dodged by a faster Crystal, "How did she-?" Songbird thinks to herself, not seeing her anywhere, when suddenly a blur streaks by, striking Songbird with what feels like a hundred fists, "Augh!" Songbird drops, blood dripping from her lip.
"We're better now," the Skrull says, transforming from Quicksilver, back to Crystal, then into Medusa, "Stronger. More powerful. I myself have the strength and ability of every Inhuman."
The Skrull, as Medusa, quickly lashes out. It's long hair wraps around Songbird's throat, slamming her back against the corridor wall, lifting her off the ground and choking her...
...She cuts off my air...chokes me...keeps me from being able to form a sound...
"We'll replace you like all the others," the Skrull tightens it's vice-like hair around her throat.
...But I don't panic...instead...I look over her shoulder...
"And soon your world will topple," she steels her grip, "Just like it's moon will."
...And see back-up has arrived...
WHAM
The Thing's rock-covered fist swings down hard on the Skrulls head with such impact it sends her through the floor, collapsing into the lower levels of the Skrull prison...
"You okay?" Thing asks, helping Songbird up.
"I will be," Songbird coughs.
"We can't let her get away," Reed says as he assists a recovering Sue, "Let's got, team."
They pursue downward, through the collapsed floor through which the Skrull went, finding themselves within the heart of the Skrull prison. Many heroes and villains alike interned in gellatinous cocoons...
"Johnny!" Sue exclaims, noticing him among the many specimens, "Help me get him out."
"Sue, look out!" Reed elongates rapidly, knocking Sue out of the way, narrowly dodging a blast of fire from the Skrull who now seems to be a montage of all the Inhumans. It scorches Johnny's cocoon.
"What an honor it will be for me to be the one to destroy the Fantastic Four," the Skrull says, "My people will make me a legend," it's face shifts to that of Blackbolt and it's lips part, screaming, "Die!!!"
Songbird erects a shield of sound but already it begins to crack and spider-web from the intense, powerful abilities of Blackbolt...
"Reed," Sue says, "We need a plan...fast."
"C-c-can't hold it...much....longer...," Songbird strains.
But Songbird doesn't need to hold it any longer as the Skrull is suddenly blasted in the back by a wave of fire, knocking it across the room...
"Man did that feel good," Johnny Storm, inadvertantly freed from his cocoon grins, "What do you say, team - and really hot stranger-," he winks at Songbird, "Shall we do this?"
"You don't have to ask twice," Thing lunges forward, clubbing the Skrull with tremendous force back into Reed, whose body is expanded outward like a large, upright trampoline, he bounces the Skrull back toward Johnny.
"Time to turn up the heat," Torch says as he melts the floor around him, causing the Skrulls feet to become trapped in the thick bubbling hot steel.
"I think it's our turn," Sue smiles at Songbird.
"Man is this gonna feel good," Songbird smiles back.
They stand on each side of the Skrull. Songbird lets loose a powerful scream just as Sue releases her concussive force blast, sandwiching the Skrull between the constructs as they impact each side of the alien with incredible force. The Skrull collapses unconcious, defeated by Songbird and the Fantastic Four...

"Thanks for the help," Sue Storm says to Songbird as in the background the other members of the FF and the Inhuman guards help the remaining prisoners from their cells and cocoons, "Once we finish up here we can get back to Earth."
"I can't wait for that," Songbird smiles.
...So we saved the day...I helped the Fantastic Four and together we took down a Skrull army on the moon...still...for all this...for all the people we saved and freed...for all the hostages the Skrulls had up here...not one of them was Abe Jenkins...

Epilogue...

Richmond Industries in Chicago, Illinois. A gathering of Superheroes sits around a large, round table in the penthouse office, awaiting the arrival of Kyle Richmond. They do not wait long as the doors to the private elevator open and out steps the man otherwise known as Nighthawk. He looks around at the gathered heroes, a few less than he expected...
"I'm sure you're wondering why I called you here today," he says, looking around, "The answer is quite simple really.....I want to reform the Defenders!"
