The last actual 'superhero' comic book I purchased/read was a couple of years ago; I think it was DC's Villains United limited series. Due to being broke as hell, I stopped reading/buying right before Marvel's House of M and DC's Infinite Crisis. Before that I was a big follower of anything Spider-Man and Batman related.
Recently I've been downloading a lot of comic collections online and reading 'em for free; not exactly the right/legal thing to do, but hey, nothing fun ever is. With this, I've been reading stuff like the Walking Dead, Invincible, Y The Last Man, Ex Machina, and just recently anything and all things 'Ultimate' from Marvel-- reading the Ultimate X-Men now and love it.
So unfortunately, a lot of my comic reading/knowledge is stuck in the past-- books and stories from 2006/2007 and on, I'm mostly in the dark, and from the sounds of it, a lot's changed with both my Spidey and Bat titles.
