Battle Card Mod
Hope this is okay, and sorry for getting this in late Gary. Kinda had some issues to deal with, though not related to this battle. But, I rolled it as promised. 
The two men sat at the velvet table, their chips stacked up neatly. In all honesty, Remy wasn't into it for the cash, his eyes kept creeping towards the ladies. It was no secret that he was something of a womanizer, it was all in his hypnotic charm.
"Deal 'em, mon ami," Gambit smiled at the dealer, things hadn't exactly been going his way, but he was anxious to change things around.
"Anxious to lose already?" Zebediah replied in a droll manner, he was quickly growing bored of winning most hands. It seems that his interest in this man had come to pass rather quickly; it was quite disappointing really.
"Gambit don' think he gone be losing dis one," the Cajun answered, "'dis gonna be da last hand?"
"I was hoping so, things are getting a little monotonous for my taste."
With that said, the dealer started passing out two cards to each player, face down for each man to glance at if they wanted to. But as Remy's hand moved towards his hand, his opponent chimed in,"Let's play this one face down, we both go all in?"
"Fine," the mutant agreed; if Remy LeBeau knew anything, it was the cards. And according to the law of averages, because he was continuously losing, he had to win eventually.
"Great, deal them all out," Zeb told the dealer, really more of an order.
The man behind the table did as he was told, revealing the flop, burning one card, the turn, burning the final card, and then revealing the river. On the table, there were a Ten of Spades, a Queen of Spades, an Ace of Hearts, Three of Diamonds, and a Jack of Spades.
Turning his hand over, Remy revealed a pair of bullets, two Aces; one of Diamonds and the other of Clubs. "Looks like da lady Luck was on my side," he smiled.
"Not quite," Purple Man replied, revealing an Ace and a King of Spades, "Seems I got a royal flush; looks like I win."
