Two weeks in a row, expect a post on a certain other board in the near future I'd predict.
Ok this last week I picked up a couple of books that I thought I would share my thoughts on.
I know I mentioned Captain Britain and MI-13 last week, but after reading the most recent issue I thought I would share again. Dracula and his Moon based allies (more vampires) invading Britain. Genius! If anyone is looking for a book with great characters (some SHSD favorites, Pete Wisdom, Black Knight)and some crazy plots that work, it would be worth it to pick this up.
Northlanders is the other series I thought I would take paragraph to write about this week. It just finished up it's second major arc, The Hammer and Cross, with a finish and twist that really makes the last 5 issues look really different. The series is basically an anthology of stories about Vikings and tells a history that only a viking fanatic might be aware of. Some solid stories, again if you have a little extra to spend.
Now my question for everyone this week, what series within the last year have you been disappointed to see canceled or creatively changed so much you dropped it?
For me it was Blue Beetle, really started hitting its stride and such a great supporting cast.
