Posted by jaydawg I know that some players are invited to join or rejoin the team in the winter (much like they are invited to join in fall) but believe that winter is actually your best shot at making the team via tryouts since there will be more roster room with the Sr's moving on and Freshman recruits not coming in till the fall. To be 100% certain of this, you should probably pass a note on to John Ballein since he's the one who runs the tryouts. Shaunn, sorry to hear about your injury, horrible time for it to happen during testing. Anyway, unfortunately, I don't know for certain the answer to your question, but I am pretty sure that the tryouts in the winter are open just like the fall.
