As the mother of a walkon who has worked endlessly every spring, you must SUPPORT your son consistently and remind him of the opportunity he is being given. We hold our breath every year and my son has come through each time. He is one of a few, but I'm so grateful that he has succeeded. All walkons must work harder than ever to at least get the look. I am so proud of his hard work and never give up determination. His father and I remind him of that all the time. He set his goals early and worked to achieve them. What a fine young man he has become! To those that are still working hard, just remember there is a silent majority cheering you on, "You defeat defeatism with confidence." Vince Lombardi
