Pretty sure he's a redshirt freshman who made the team via tryouts last spring. Got some rave reviews from Whammy (? actually, can't remember which coach it was) for his play at CB, or maybe it was Rov/S? Was with team until fall preseason practice started but dropped off the depth chart for a little bit, I presume b/c of the #'s crunch for only being able to have 105 players in preseason practice. UConn was the 1st game he dressed for and he too registered his first tackle against the Huskies. Actually, looks like he and Chad combined on the tackle on the same play. Great job guys!!! If anyone has any more info on either (or any other walk-on), would be nice to get some more background on these fine young men (past, present and future). Will try to do game updates later this week, apologies to already be slacking ^^

Like what was pointed out on TSL, Chad is frmr Redskin Russ Grimm's son. True freshman that joined the team this fall. Played at Oakton last year and Beamerball had his vitals at 5-11, 180 lbs. There's a very nice interview with him on Beamerball, if you're a subscriber, check it out, listed in the recruiting section. Chad's suited up for both the TAMU and Uconn games AND had registered a tackle to top it off, stopping the UConn return man inside the 20 on kick off coverage. Way to go Chad!!!
