Quite a bit, I'll bet. Insurance rates in Florida have been incredibly high since Hurricane Andrew hit in 1992. But in 2004, when Florida had 4 hurricanes in that one year, lots of insurance companies went belly up, they had so many claims. That makes me wonder why there isn't a law that says insurance companies should have to have enough capital accessible to totally rebuild every home they insure, all at the same time.
