You’re so right. We deliver what fits in the car, otherwise we drag it out to the front sidewalk with a “Free” sign on it now, because few places pick up. Even if they do, they’ve got all sorts of new rules and it might be weeks. Luckily we CAN set stuff out in our neighborhood. I see that’s what most people do now. Eventually, if it didn’t disappear, the city would likely cite people, but usually someone picks things up quickly. We also have “Big Junk Day” a few times a year where the city picks up, if someone else doesn’t claim it first. But our alley is too narrow for big items.
