Re: I don't know what to do,
The hotel I stay at for hurricanes now charges 20 per pet, and they don't want to take birds any more. The woman on the phone told me that they have too many complaints about birds. I told her not MY birds. We've stayed there for many a storm, and we leave the place CLEANER than when we arrive, and my birds aren' t squawking or hollering, they're usually resting and nibbling their millet sprays. And when I leave if there is power, I vacuum up after them before we go. If not, since the carpets are flat, I sweep up after them, not leaving so much as a millet hull behind. I found that out last week, when trying to get a room for what was supposed to be a really severe line of storms, but thankfully wasn't so bad. I"m not leaving my birds either.
