Before the pandemic we had a gym membership and went almost every day. We bought the weights to fill in for the gym as best we could, and continued walking, biking, and swimming, despite the pandemic. We can do those things safely. But I still don’t see a gym being safe yet. And I haven’t been good about the weight lifting. I have a bad back and knees are showing age and wear, so I have to limit anything that aggravates that. Thank goodness we have a pool. Even though the water is too cold from mid Oct to mid April, it’s been a lifesaver, especially in summer when it’s way too hot to walk or bike. (Phoenix area!)
