Hi everyone. Birdman (my 16 month old teel) is a great guy and pretty much runs the house. He talks (says 'whatcha doin' over and over again but nothing else) and loves me to bits. Unfortunately he isn't very sociable and is likely to tell visitors off. He only goes in his cage at night when I'm in bed. I just love him for who he is.
He started a new behaviour a few months ago and I'm wondering if anyone's seen it before. He stands on one leg making a graty squawky noise (waa waa waa ......), not really loud -
- while waving his claw in the air In Time with the sound. It is hilarious. He doesn't seem upset, and would do it for as long as I would put up with the noise. Has anyone seen this behaviour before?
I actually have another question re feeding. He will only eat the 'baby' food in his seed mix. It's almost like he only likes budgie food. Should I let him eat the small bits and leave the big ones there until he tackles them? He usually has a nibble of what I eat, but not much.
Thanks. This my first post here as I'm new.
