Once a year you are entitled to a free credit report from all three agencies, Equifax, Experian & TransUnion.
Some of the sites are not good to choose, do the annualcreditreport.com site as it is best with security .
I just did read outs of all three yesterday & found a glitch on one of them regarding a JC Penny account that decided to jack my apr to 29.99 from 12.99 so i closed my account with them. Only used them twice, paid both balances off etc...guess they decided i wasn't a worthy enough client, like increasing the apr was going to make me use it more..duh...
Anyway...2 reports showed account closed by consumers request...the other?
account closed...in COLLECTIONS!!!
So....i got that taken care of but folks..DO check your reports because that one credit information mistake could keep you from obtaining furthur credit. It wasn't the store..it was someone at the agency putting in the wrong info.
I am still on medical leave, Dr.s still won't release me as they feel i am not stable emotionally with the PTSD & anxiety & imbalance problems that i have.
I don't really think i will ever be the same after this tradgedy no matter how many Dr.s try & help.
