Can you tell me what kind of medications she has tried? I myself am suffering from depression really bad because of a loved one that commited suicide this year in our home & i have been going through hell. Right now i have been changed over to Abilify which is keeping my head above water right now, not to say i am healed, far from it but at least i am getting through a day better than i was. Alot of these anti depressents make a person kinda loopy & off balance like the Cymbalta REALLY had me bumping off the walls & the Paxil as well..was taking both together. In elderly people they have to be very careful with meds because they fall easily. Don't EVEN consider shock treatment or anything like that..she will NEVER be the same afterwards. I hope she can get the proper meds to help her poor thing. Prayers being said.
