If you make a post that is of a political or religious or sensitive nature, such as graphic descriptions of animal or child abuse, etc... please put in the subject line that the topic is religious, or political or graphic. This helps those who may not want to view them to avoid them.
In a multi-cultural and varied forum such as HOT, it helps to put in the subject line the nature of the contents of the post itself. We wish to allow all forms of expression, ( except for spam and porn of course), We recognize that some topics might be upsetting to people, and in order to avoid such upset, it's a good idea if the writer lets all know that it is for example, a graphic description of animal neglect, or a political commentary, or a religious posting that is detailed, whatever religion that might be. It is okay to say, for example "prayers said" or "I'll pray for you" but if you want to discuss the benefits of any particular religion or quote it's text, please let other know in the title.
The same goes with animal cruelty. It is fine to say, a person has been charged with animal neglect, Or an animal was rescued, but if you have to describe it's injuries or treatment it endured, it's best to warn in the title.
Politics? A warning is good at all times. Not all share the same views, and to avoid conflict, posting that it's a political post is wise.
Tiel Chat appreciates your cooperation and thanks you for your patronage. You all make Tiel Chat and Heads Over Tiels a wonderful and helpful place for all. Thank you.
