**SPOILERS AHEAD**
So on the heels of the cancelation of the newest "Exiles" series, the biggest Wanda Web buzz right now is that the shadowy female figure at the end of Ultimatum #5 is most likely the Scarlet Witch (no longer, or possibly never, dead as shown previously).
I haven't seen the issue yet myself, but apparently it's only implied that it's her . . . they don't actually do a full reveal (because they want you to buy "Ultimate Avengers").
But of course it's Wanda . . . since she's become the deus ex machina for all bad storytelling at the House of "Ideas."
Did I mention that said shadowy female is also the mastermind behind unhinging Magneto, in effect launching the massive global death and destruction that was "Ultimatum". Instead of sterilizing the mutant race, this time she's got the blood of millions (if not billions) on her hands. And we thought Bendis was bad.
There's always the possibility that Wanda is still dead and that it's her doppelganger Ultimate mother, Magda (who's known to be a witch and who wears a similar costume), who is the big baddy this time around. She did have a history with Wolverine, though I don't think we ever know how she felt about Mags. How that could play out is anyone's guess. Only time will tell how badly Marvel will next screw up our favorite heroine.
On that happy note, I'll leave you with a very alluring piece of art by Mark Brooks ("diablo2003"), courtesy of MajorSpoilers.com and DeviantArt.com.
