Just reading a synopsis of the Skrull invasion in the Marvel universe on the Wizard Magazine site. Black Bolt is revealed to be a Skrull spy and he brings some other Skrulls with him who all seem to have the ability to "have the ability to mimic the powers of Marvel’s heroes, but also the ability to mimic the thought patterns of their victims’ identities". So the thought occured to me, again, that maybe Wanda has been captured, and the Scarlet Witch that went mad was a Skrull agent that somehow also assumed Wanda's mental flaws along with mimicing her powers. Just how they would managed to mimic Wanda's is still the question, but it does give Marvel an out. And what if Wanda and Pietro had been held captive all this time, since they were captured in the first Avengers Kree/Skrull war and replaced with Skrull sleeper agents? Then both Wanda and Pietro would be able to be rehabilitated. And it would give Marvel the chance to develope the characters in different directions than is normally accepted. Don't know how practical this solution is, but just proposing a thought here.

: I think A Way around SW's Miracle Machine
: status is important if and when she starts
: appearing anywhere regularly. I think the
: massive alterations like House Of M have to
: be made possible only when Wanda rests up
: long enough between 'hexes' or taps into an
: outside power source. Removing the
: temptation to have Wanda stay at the extreme
: power levels would probably make it easier
: to slip her back into the MU.
